Visit statistics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful: pages viewed, approximate country, device and browser type, and how you arrived. It sets cookies (names starting with "_ga") that keep these statistics for up to 14 months. We do not use it to identify you or for advertising. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google Analytics only loads after you accept it in the cookie banner; elsewhere it loads after the page has finished loading. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
On your device
Your favourites, theme (light or dark), language and cookie choice are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are never sent to us.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser and pages requested) for security and performance.
Pools forum
To post in the pools forum you create a free account with a username, an email address and a password. Your username and posts are public; your email is never shown. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash, and a sign-in cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. To stop spam we keep a one-way code made from your IP address (not the address itself) with posts and sign-up attempts. Ask us at the address below to delete your account or a post you wrote.
Maps
Our Bet9ja shop guide shows a Google Maps map. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy. The map only loads on that page.
