No prediction is guaranteed, so how much you stake matters as much as what you pick.
Set a bankroll
Decide on an amount you can afford to lose completely, kept separate from money for rent, food and bills. That is your bankroll. If it is gone, you stop.
Use flat stakes
The simplest safe approach is to stake the same small share of your bankroll on every bet, for example 1% to 2%. With a bankroll of ₦50,000, that is ₦500 to ₦1,000 a bet. Losing runs happen to everyone; flat stakes stop a bad run turning into a disaster.
Avoid chasing
After a loss, never raise your stake to "win it back". Chasing is the fastest way to lose control.
Keep a record
Write down each bet, the stake and the result. After a month you will know which markets work for you, the same way our accuracy page tracks our own record.
Know when to stop
Betting should be entertainment. If it stops being fun, or you are betting money you need, take a break and see our responsible gambling page for help. You must be 18 or older to bet.
